3D Art Shadow Box – Fernand Ciraco’s many years as a custom picture framer allowed a close observation of hundreds of artistic creations that deepened his creative inquiry. He continually contemplated:”How could I make the artwork become more alive?”. This way the viewer could further appreciate what the artist was conveying. This intense inquiry finally culminated in the creation of this surreal 3D perspective. We have created a unique way of appreciating the artwork. A truly a one of a kind.

The Creation

During the process of this 3D Art Shadow Box the selected image is mounted onto a lightweight high-density material (Not wood). After mindful study we will feed various aspects of this image manually through a very thin blade. The results leave me with puzzle piece components. We laminated and protected the image surface from external dangerous factors so that you know you are purchasing a long lasting piece with you. Then we hand painted the sides to then have the finished 3D encased in a wooden floater frame to improve the product durability and the art piece and surroundings appeareance as well when used as a  decorational piece. After these steps a multi-dimensional depth of field emerges with the pieces placed in their position to enhance the look of the original image.

We also added art glass UV protection which protects your 3D from dust build-up, color washing, etc. At times your glassed 3D collectible will look invisible. That is because Artglass shows clear. No glare. With Artglass you can thoroughly appreciate your 3D Art. We now have a finished 3D creation with a considerably thickness. A specially designed shadow box is created. The sides of are then hand painted to enhance the 3D composition. Now comes the final stage. The selecting of complimentary museum mats and wooden frame. With a styling that is integral to the artwork renewal.
