Rosie the Riveter 3D Framed Art

We Can Do It! But, women have been doing it all along!

Rosie the Riveter was an allegorical cultural icon of World War II, representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War II, many of whom produced munitions and war supplies. These women sometimes took entirely new jobs replacing the male workers who joined the military.

Artist J. Howard Miller produced this work-incentive poster for the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company. Though displayed only briefly in Westinghouse factories, the poster in later year has become one of the most famous icons of World War II.
As women were encouraged to take wartime jobs in defense industries, they became a celebrated symbol of female patriotism. But when the war ended, many industries forced women to relinquish their skilled jobs to returning veterans.

The image is laminated to protect the surface, sides are hand-painted and the finished 3D is encased in a wooden floater frame.
Because of the 3 1/4″ depth of the floater frame, this allows for the 3D to sit on a flat surface. We supply metal hanging hardware for wall-mount

This World War II 3D collectible is framed with Artglass.

Art glass offers UV (Ultra Violet) protection and protects your 3D from dust build-up etc. At times your glassed 3D collectible will look invisible.
That is because Artglass shows clear. No glare. With Artglass you can thoroughly appreciate your 3D collectible.

The 3D and painting is all done by hand. I do only one at a time. No two are exactly alike.
Our 3D art is created on lightweight material NOT wood.
We use only One Image to create this 3-dimensional effect!

Outside dimension with frame – 7 3/8″ x 8 7/8″ x 3 1/4″
